Threads scheduler: schedule Threads posts and threads
Write Threads posts, chains of posts and carousels once, pick a time or a slot in your queue, and Govir publishes them on Threads, even while you sleep.
A Threads scheduler lets you write today and publish later. In Govir you write a post or a whole thread, choose when it goes out, and Govir publishes it on Threads at that time through Threads' official API. You don't need the app open, and you can manage several accounts from one calendar.
How to schedule a Threads post in Govir
- Write it in Write. Text, images, a video or a carousel, a poll, a GIF, a link card or long text under the post. Add parts with Add to thread to make a chain.
- Pick when. Schedule for a date and time in your timezone, Add to queue for your next free slot, or Post now.
- Check the Calendar. Every account's posts sit in one month, week or list view; drag a post to another day to move it.
Before anything is scheduled, Govir checks it against Threads' limits: characters per part, media, links and your plan's monthly posts. The character counter and post preview use the same rules.
Queue slots
Set the weekly times you like to post, once. Add to queue then drops each new post into the next free slot, so a week of posts takes one sitting. Change a slot and the queue follows; drag any post to a fixed time when it matters.
Threads, not only single posts
| You want to | In Govir |
|---|---|
| Post a thread | Up to 25 parts, with optional 1/5 numbers |
| Show several images | Carousels with alt text |
| Ask your followers | A poll on a text post |
| Say more than 500 characters | Long text under the post, up to 10,000 characters |
| Continue a post that did well | Quote your own published post |
| Start the conversation | A first comment under the post |
Many posts at once
Have a month planned in a spreadsheet? Calendar → Import takes a CSV or Excel file of up to 100 posts, checks every row against your calendar and plan, and shows what's wrong before anything is saved. Writing with an AI assistant? Govir's API and MCP server can draft and schedule too.
When something goes wrong
Govir retries a post that Threads refuses for a passing reason, tells you in the app and by email if it still can't go out, and never publishes twice. Posts that need you, such as an expired connection, wait in Problems with what to do.
Questions
Can I schedule Threads posts for free? Yes. Govir's free plan schedules up to 20 posts a month for one account. See pricing for more accounts and posts.
Does Threads have its own scheduler? Threads lets you schedule posts in its app. A scheduler like Govir adds a calendar for several accounts, a queue, chains, polls and CSV import. See Best Threads schedulers in 2026.
Can I schedule a thread with several parts? Yes, up to 25 parts. Govir publishes them in order at the time you pick.
What time zone are scheduled posts in? Yours. Set it in your profile; Govir stores times in UTC, so daylight saving changes don't move your posts.
Can I schedule posts for more than one Threads account? Yes, on paid plans: 3 accounts on Creator, 10 on Pro and 30 on Agency.
