Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of govir.app and the Govir application (the "Service"), provided by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("Govir", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Govir helps you write, generate, schedule, publish and analyze posts on Threads. Govir is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Meta or Threads.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and sign-in methods secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@govir.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Connected platforms

When you connect a social account, you authorize Govir to act on your behalf within the permissions you grant. You remain responsible for complying with the terms and policies of each platform, including the Threads Terms of Use and Meta's policies. We are not responsible for platform outages, API changes, rate limits or actions a platform takes on your account.

4. Your content

You own the content you create and publish with Govir. You grant us a limited license to store, process and transmit your content only as needed to provide the Service, for example to publish a scheduled post or show analytics.

You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the rights to publish it and that it does not violate the law or the rights of others.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • publish spam, misleading content, or content that is illegal, hateful or infringes on others' rights;
  • use automation to artificially inflate engagement or evade platform limits;
  • access other users' data or attempt to break or overload the Service;
  • resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. AI features

AI-generated content may be inaccurate or similar to content generated for others. Review it before publishing — you are responsible for what you post. AI features consume credits as described on the Pricing page.

7. Plans, payments and credits

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars. Govir is the seller; payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Prices shown do not include taxes: where VAT, GST or sales tax applies, it is calculated and added at checkout according to your location. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Settings; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. There is no free trial; the Free plan is free for as long as you use it.

Monthly AI credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. They are granted for a period only once it is paid. Purchased credit packs are available on paid plans and do not expire while your account is active. Refunds follow our Refund policy and applicable law. If a payment is refunded or disputed, the credits it brought are taken back; credits already used may leave a balance to cover before AI works again.

If a payment fails, we retry it for up to 14 days and tell you each time. If it still fails, the subscription ends and your workspace moves to the Free plan.

If you downgrade, connected accounts above your new plan's limit are paused rather than deleted, and posts scheduled for them return to drafts.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period. Existing subscriptions keep their price unless we tell you otherwise.

8. Referral program

Participation in the referral program is subject to additional terms shown in the app. We may withhold commissions obtained through fraud or self-referrals.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data after termination.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to publish posts on time, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or any particular growth or results.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY]. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of [JURISDICTION], unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
